Archangels reside in the third triad of Angels who serve humankind. Their main purpose is to communicate with us and carry out God or Spirit’s plan on the physical plane.
Choirs of Angels
In the Choir of Angels, there are 9 Choirs divided into 3 triads. The first triad consists of Seraphim, Cherubim and Thrones. Their main purpose is to contemplate and adore God directly.
Dominions, Virtues and Powers choirs make us the second triad. These choirs of angels take their illumination and direction from the first triad while fulfilling God’s universal plan. They oversee the lower orders of angels and assist in the natural order of the universe.
The third triad of angels consist of Principalities, Archangels and Angels. They serve and interact with humanity. They are closest to us and are able to assist in our personal lives at any given time. We can always ask for their help and we will receive it whether aware or not as it might come in a form we do not expect.
Do Angels have Wings?
It’s important to note that in Western society we “see” angels with wings, and they are portrayed in paintings as being a certain gender. This is so we can relate to them more easily. In essence, they are pure beings of light without shape and only take on a human form to better communicate with us.
While various sources name up to 7 Archangels, there are 3 that are consistent throughout; Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. Residing in the 3rd triad of choirs, Archangels are here to serve and interact with humanity. Each one has a specific specialty or purpose, however all can assist us in time of need.
Archangel Michael
Archangel Michael is seen as a protector. Appearing in a male form, he protects and helps release the effects of fear from the planet and its inhabitants. He provides courage to seek out truth even when we are afraid. If you need help on remembering or discovering your life purpose, call on Archangel Michael for assistance.
Archangel Raphael
Known to be a healer, Archangel Raphael can be called on to assist us in healing. It doesn’t matter if it’s a physical or emotional healing you need, Archangel Raphael is available to assist. Also appearing in male form, he can be called on to assist with healing your animals too. If you are building a healing practice, building a school or even a retreat center, call on Archangel Raphael for help.
Archangel Gabriel
Feeling stuck as a writer, teacher or pod cast host? Archangel Gabriel is available to help. Appearing in mostly female form, she helps bring messages to the earthly plane through various forms of communication. Call on her to get unstuck in your writing project of to help you release any fear around your communication project regardless of the form it takes.
